Their courageous band of volunteers include a former world-class athlete intent on making a comeback, a bin-man with big ideas and a kamikaze housewife who literally launches herself at the Big Red Balls, Granny's House and the Ski Lift. Only three can progress to the Winter Wipeout Zone where, in the final moments of the nail-biting finish, there are just five seconds between the winner and the runner up. It is a close run thing for the title, with one finalist proving that the Impossible Snowflakes might actually be possible.
