Watch the season premiere of the newest drama series by Lifetime entitled The Protector which stars Ally Walker, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Chris Payne Gilbert, Terrell Tilford, Miguel Ferrer, Sage Ryan and Thomas Robinson. The episode premieres Sunday night, June 12, 2011 at 10pm ET. The story of this series surround with Gloria Sheppard (Ally Walker) who is a single mother who struggles to balance her duty as a member of the elite Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) homicide detective and her family. The series is first entitled as EXIT 19 but later changed to what the title of show right now. Regarding the reception of the show, well, it did receive some positive response from the expecting viewers but critics said it still lacks some sparks to boost it up the interest of the viewers.
