The Lying Game season 1 episode 11 was directed by Fred Gerber and written by Charles Pratt, Jr. The series returns on January 2012. It is been a tough night for Ethan and Emma and it is about to get tougher. That's when they find out that Sutton has disappeared after their argument and the Mercer family car is missing from the garage. When the police find the car at the bottom of the lake, Emma and Ethan look to each other for support, but Thayer threatens to tear them apart with his accusations against Ethan. On the other hand, the aunt of Char, Rebecca (guest star Charisma Carpenter, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel"), has returned to town and Char is the only one happy about it. In this episode, Sutton's car is found in a lake, but there's no sign of her. Meanwhile, Thayer grows suspicious of Ethan and Char is the only person who gives her Aunt Rebecca (Charisma Carpenter) a warm welcome when she returns to Phoenix.
