On this episode of The Dead Files, retired NYPD homicide detective Steve DiSchiavi and physical medium Amy Allan investigate terrifying paranormal activity threatening at an historic local movie theater in the small town of Marshall, Missouri. Their client, Kim, wanted to do her part to save what's left of her hometown's history, so she rescued its only movie theater from the wrecking ball. Little did she know that her dream of preserving part of her childhood would turn into a real-life horror show. Unexplained paranormal activity plagues the eerie-feeling theater; with everyone from her most senior employee to her own father witnessing terrifyingly strange sounds, disembodied voices, shadow figures, and suffering physical assaults.
