Watch the newest drama TV series from ABC Family entitled Switched at Birth. Season 1 episode 1 of the show was premiered on June 6, 2011 at 9pm ET/PT and will be on your television every Monday night. The series is about two teens that have been switched at birth and grew up in a different family.
The show stars Katie Leclerc, Vanessa Marano, Constance Marie, D. W. Moffett, Lea Thompson, and Lucas Grabeel.
The pilot episode entitled "This is Not A Pipe" is the episode where two 16 years old teens namely Bay Kennish (Vanessa Marano) and Daphne Vasquez (Katie Leclerc) learned that they were accidentally switched at birth. Bay is currently living with a rich family while Daphne live with her single mother. Daphne is deaf which is a cause of the meningitis that she suffer at her young age. Bay was the first one who find out about this accidental switch when she tries to discover the reason why her blood type is different from her parents.
