Serial entrepreneur and author Steve Kaplan spends a week living on welfare-level income in a rough neighborhood in Chicago's South Side. He volunteers with an after-school program dedicated to keeping children off the streets, a low-income senior-citizen living community and a charity organization that collects everyday items to give to those less fortunate.
