The tension between Ric and Nick reaches crisis point during a bowel transplant operation, and Diane is forced to pick sides. Joseph treats a Bosnian woman who doesn't speak English, and is unaware of the full extent of her condition - but his decision to tell her the truth has disastrous implications. After dealing with a medical emergency in the lab, Matt realises he misses treating patients.
