Hanssen attempts to guarantee he has the full support of his staff. When Elizabeth returns to work she ends up receiving some unexpected news about her family. Elizabeth becomes inspired to make a big decision about her own future after attempting to help a patient. Chrissie wants to prove herself to Eddi who's duty it is to sign off her nurse practitioner management module.
