The Hilltoppers (7-5) play the Monarchs (6-6) in the 2023 Famous Toastery Bowl. Western Kentucky is 6-2 in bowl games since 2014, while Old Dominion's lone victory was at the Bahamas Bowl in 2016. Western Kentucky topped Old Dominion 43-20 in 2021.
