After having the High Star case rejected by the senior partners of Nye & Everett , Ellen is determined to try the case on her own but needs the resources of Patty in order to reach her goal. But, she refuses to get help from Patty so that she can avoid to owe something from her former boss. Erickson and Boorman stage an elaborate scheme to get Sanchez out of the country, which includes the bombing of his therapist's office and an assassination attempt. Sanchez believes he is being targeted by an Afgahni man bent on avenging his brother, who was killed by Sanchez and his men during the last High Tower mission in Afghanistan. Ellen has a group of friends pretend to threaten her about High Tower in front of Patty, who afterwards offers her resources to Ellen. Desperate for answers, Sanchez gets redeployed to Afghanistan in hopes of finding those responisble for the attempts on his life.
