7 - 4: The Final

It's the Child Genius final. Quizmaster Richard Osman tests the five gifted finalists as they chase the coveted trophy. Round One is a specialist round, with topics ranging from spiders that mimic insects to Russian ballet, Florence Nightingale's influence on military and healthcare reform, to Margaret Thatcher's premiership and tax policy. The last two standing then advance to the final round, with questions on maths, spelling and general knowledge. The semi-finalists include Saffy, Rhea, siblings Georgia and Stephen, and 12-year-old Jonathan, who hopes his specialist subject of public health and sanitation in the Victorian era can help him win.
